Cider & Apple Juice

Springfield Cider was founded in 2004 and quickly established its reputation as a producer of high quality natural juice ciders. In 2007 we won several awards at the Welsh National Cider & Perry Festival. These included the prestigious Gold Medal for Overall Champion Cider and Silver Medal for our bottled Farmhouse Cider.

We also make a single-variety Apple juice that is thought by many to be the best in Monmouthshire!

Cider Varieties

Our ciders and Apple juice are all made exclusively from carefully selected and hand-picked apples, grown in our own orchards. The apples are thoroughly washed in natural spring water and are freshly pressed using traditional methods. We rely on natural yeasts for fermentation and use no brewing or processing aids. Our products are therefore naturally pure, unfiltered, with no added yeast, water, sulphites or sugar.

Farmhouse 6.8% ABV
Our Silver Medal winning blend of early season bittersweets and sharps. A traditionally made cider with an exceptionally clean and refreshing flavour.
Old Barn 7.2% ABV
Our Welsh National Championship winning cider. Strong and fruity, made from a blend of late season Browns and mid season Dabinetts grown in our Old Barn orchard.
Sledgehammer 8.2% ABV
A strong cider made from a blend of late season cider apples grown in our own orchards. This cider is matured in oak casks.

We do our own 500ml crown cap bottling on-site.
We also sell our ciders in a wide range of bulk packaging from 2 litre poly cartons to 5 gallon barrels.

Apple Juice

Our pasteurised single-variety Apple juice is unfiltered and retains all its natural goodness - it is truly delicious.

Our Apple juice is sold in 330ml and 750ml glass bottles with tamper-proof screw tops.
